The Grant Park Farmers Market opened in May 2011 in Atlanta’s oldest city park and quickly transformed Grant Park into a thriving local food hub, and was named the “Best New Farmers Market” by Atlanta Magazine. The Grant Park Farmers Market attracts over 1,500 weekly guests. Weekly free celebrity chef demos feature the top chefs in the south including Hugh Acheson, Kevin Gillespie, Virginia Willis and many more. Shoppers, foodies, bloggers, and critics all agree that the Grant Park Farmers Market is the place to be on Sunday Mornings.

Antonio Zenere was born in Italy and lived there for most of his life. He moved to the US in 1988 working and studying for many years at the University of Georgia. In 2003 he received a Doctorate in Food Science. In 2006 he decided to start making his own pasta, and imported a pasta machine from Italy. The result is his delicious pasta, made fresh for the market.

Compost Wheels operates a highly efficient, closed loop system for compost pick up. We achieve this through the use of minimal amounts of fossil fuel resources by never taking the organic waste out of the surrounding neigborhood. This also helps us achieve our goal of creating a standard of soil used in each community we serve.
Cosmos Organic Farm is transitioning a 100 year old conventional farm into a new organic farm as a new generation of farmer takes over. We have a very diverse array of vegetable produce, herbs, flowers, and mushrooms and use sustainable farming practices that both heals the land and respects our particular place here in the cosmos.
Chris and Isia are urban farmers and foragers on a 1/2 acre lot in SE Atlanta. In addition to their farming and gathering, Isia teaches weekly yoga classes in our EAVFM Learning Garden and Chris leads walking tours of fruit and nut trees in East Atlanta.

Since 1995, Mary has been producing award-winning farmstead artisanal cheeses from Saanan goats. These goats are raised on farm and the chevre, tuma, feta-style, and special varietal cheeses are hand-crafted. These happy goats walk the earth gently thanks to rotational grazing.

Farm Mobile is Riverview Farms mobile farmers market that makes stops throughout central Atlanta every week, year round. Inside the truck, you’ll find fresh locally grown produce and meats, much of it certified organic, and all of it grown by the best small family farms in our area. We also stock pantry goods created by talented artisans launching their new local food-focused businesses.
Fresh, a family business started by Marci Scharko, is unique because her products are made with all-natural ingredients from local farms. Just like the produce at the farmers market, Fresh products change with the seasons – like the Peaches ‘n Cream soap made from Decimal Place goats milk and Pearsons peaches.
This start-up urban farm project is a partnership with Susan Pavlin, Refugee Family Services, and farmers from Burundi who have come to metro-Atlanta as refugees. With leadership from experienced Burundi farmers, a group of Burundi women are joining together to grow food, exchange farming knowledge, and develop a greater understanding of farming practice in the Atlanta area. Practical farm experience, combined with workshops and field trips to local farmers markets, will create new opportunities in production, distribution and marketing. The farm will also provide families, which are often facing food security risks, with healthy food for their tables.
